Subsea Operations Engineer
Responsibilities
* Write and review Subsea intervention, commissioning and operating procedures
* Work offshore to supervise execution of subsea and well intervention work, from vessels, assets or drilling rigs as required
* Perform process analysis and condition monitoring to proactively identify threats to equipment or process integrity. Assess and understand test and fault finding results.
* Identify requirement for equipment repair or replacement, evaluate repair options and lead implementation of execution scope
* Lead technical response to identified integrity threats
* Lead and attend risk assessments
* Work closely with project and engineering teams to ensure high quality of deliverables
* Identify and develop preparedness response strategies to mitigate key vulnerabilities
* Identify and implement technology and digitalisation improvement opportunities

Required expertise
* 5+ years engineering experience, including operation of subsea facilities
* Experience of working offshore, ideally on both operating assets and subsea intervention vessels
* Strong understanding of Norwegian sector regulations and NORSOK standards
* Risk assessment (HAZID, HAZOP, etc.)
