Electrical Commissioning Engineer HV, South Korea
Responsibilities
The commissioning engineer shall execute commissioning on the overall HV and LV distribution onboard the platform.
The commissioning engineer shall execute commissioning activities on Low voltage levels both for Process and Utility systems. The task also includes planning, preparation, execution and hand over to Operation/Plant Integrity related to Electrical Discipline.
Primary Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain safe working routines during execution of commissioning to ensure that all work performed is made in full compliance with Companys safety regulation to maintain Companys objectives of zero incidents, injuries and losses.
Commissioning activities during the entire phase to enable a safe and efficient start-up execution.
Experience transfer from/to other relevant projects and towards the base organisation.
Identify and follow up risks and opportunities related to commissioning.
Evaluate and verify all procedures and work instructions used during commissioning and ensure that those are well understood by relevant personnel.
Ensure and maintain a close and good relationship to contractor and operation.
Execute and supervise the performance of commissioning activities.
Execute commissioning according to Company governing documents
Identify and propose needed temporaries for commissioning execution.
Define commissioning scope where engineering activities are needed.
Participate in relevant engineering and construction meetings to obtain and ensure commissioning task execution.

Required expertise
Minimum 10 years experience from oil and gas projects or other relevant experience including field competence.
Good understanding of Area completion requirements.
Extensive knowledge of Companys governing documentation.
Well-developed teambuilding, co operational- and communication abilities.
Ability to handle responsibility and periodically high work load.
Comfortable with English as working language.
Approved FSE course.
Familiar with Company completion tool, ProCo Sys.
Language requirements: English
Location: Samsung Heavy Industries, Geoje, South Korea
Rotation: 28/28 travel in spare time
Duration: 01.04.18 - 30.11.18 with optional period of 3x4 months offshore.
Good understanding of Area completion requirements.
