Tie-in & Modifications Engineer
Responsibilities
Follow up of project execution conducted by Statoil and topside EPCI contractor during:
- Detail design / Modules fabrication / Offshore preparations for modules installations / Modules installation and hook up to existing topside facilities /Offshore commissioning
- Follow-up on safety and quality, agreed scope of work, weight development, schedule and cost throughout all phases of project execution
- Attend risk assessments and installation review meetings during design and construction
- Review of design documentation
- Participate in design reviews
- Ensure that relevant authority requirements, design rules and procedures are adhered to
Responsibilities should be expected to be slightly adjusted through project execution based on work load and project priorities
Required expertise
University Master degree in a relevant engineering or technical discipline
Minimum 15 years working in the oil and gas industry within the field new built and offshore modifications of oil and gas platforms
- Preferably experience from Oil Company
- Preferably experience from Contractor
- Offshore experience with platform modifications is a requirement
- Knowledge with Statoil work processes and procedures
- Familiar with relevant international and Norwegian standards
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills. Verbal Norwegian preferred, but not a requirement
Start up date: As soon as possible
Duration: Summer 2018, with possible extension
Location: The project will start up in Oslo (Skøyen) but the project base organization will move to Stavanger first half of 2017.
