Discipline Lead Engineer Electrical Technology
The engineer will be system responsible for the electrical power system and must have the ability to assess the design of complex electrical offshore systems.
Provide engineering assistance to ensure an aligned Electrical design for the total facilities according to project requirements.
Follow up of and support to contractor within Electr. Technology.
Proactively identify and follow up issues relevant for Electr. system design and functionality across the field
Ensure a prudent, reliable and cost effective electrical system design across the Mariner field, compliant to relevant standards and regulations.
Responsible for verifying TQ and NCRs within subject area that could set precedence for other platforms/ contracts.
Actively follow up of packages with respect to Engineering, clarifications and queries.
Ensure simple design solutions that meet HSE expectations and that decisions are taken i.a.w. plan
Ensure that relevant interfaces for specific disciplines are managed timely and properly
Ensure good involvement and cooperation with relevant stake holders
Participate in weekly discipline meetings
Collect relevant experience from other projects, and ensure experience transfer
Contribute to a constructive, positive and professional working relationship with Contractors and Project Team Members
Ensure focus on overall goals for the project within the relevant discipline
Continuously make discipline has strong team alignment, actively work to help settle disputes / misunderstandings across disciplines
Responsible (PRC) for purchase packages according to agreed plan.
Ensure high focus and proper handling of interfaces within Electr. design
*Master of science Electrical technology and minimum 10 years of relevant experience. Relevant experiences may be from the following arenas;
- Discipline lead in larger greenfield projects,
- Experience from technology development projects within relevant field

Work location: Onshore South Korea, Okpo
Contract period: 01.11.2016- 30.09.2017 (Option period 3x3 months)
Work hours: Full time
