Supervisor Instrument - IKM Consultants UK
IKM Consultants AS is a company within the IKM Group. Our consultants have a high level of education and experience. They participate in all project phases; from initial studies and planning activities to project execution and close-out. Supervisor Instrument
* Ensure that all construction and installation activities related to instrumentation are planned, performed and documented in accordance with the project specifications
* Monitor all instrumentation construction and installation activities with emphasis on requirements, quality, schedule and HSE
* Participate in inspection activities according to Inspection and Test plan (ITP) as required
* Follow up that all working environment requirements are fulfilled
* Supervise local inspectors in site team
* Monitor the receipt and storage of materials within the discipline
* Participate in audits/verifications as required
* Follow up of relevant packages
* Monitor work progress against plans and schedules and highlight areas of concern and possible corrective actions
* Ensure that Contractors personnel are qualified in accordance with project requirements
* Assist Contractor with discipline field engineering / construction details upon request
* Interface with Instrument discipline at Shinhan in Okpo
* Ensure that systems and equipment are protected and preserved throughout fabrication, installation & hook-up
* Review relevant drawings and documents issued by EPC Contractor
* Ensure MC complete for handover to Commissioning
* Participate in area/system punch out and monitor the MC status in Procosys
* Responsibility of inspection and approval of relevant ATEX equipment installed in Hazardous Areas
* Attend coordination meetings with Engineering Close cooperation with main project team at DSME yard is anticipated
Required expertise
Required qualifications:
* Bachelor degree within Automation discipline, lack of formal education can be compensated by extensive experience
* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience from engineering and/or fabrication in offshore projects
* Experience from international construction sites / large and complex installations is an advantage

Work location:
Onshore, South Korea, Shinhan yard (close to Ulsan/Busan)

Contract period:
01.05.2015 - 30.06.2016

Option period:
2 x 6 months
