Document / Information Management Lead - IKM Consultants AS

Document / Information Management Lead
Key Responsibilities:
Establish Document Management System (DMS) for the project
Establish DM strategy for the project
Manage project’s document handling system and process
Ensure document handling issues are identified and coordinated through a regular document control meeting
Report any major document handling issues to the Facility Project Manager
Work closely with the Information Manager to align document control processes with ongoing organizational change effort

Main Tasks:
Super user for PIMS (DMS)
Provide PIMS Document Control training to new personnel, as required
Overall management of Facilities documents.
Reviewing the accuracy and completeness of the delivery line’s MDR’s, and maintain distribution matrix across all deliver lines
Assisting with identifying and resolving Document Control related issues within the project
Interface with all delivery lines on all issues related to document handling
Advise the Facility Project Managers / PRO Area VPs on all matters related to document & information management to include property information and security protection policies
Engage Alliance/Project management teams to align information/ documentation processes to Aker BP BMS requirements
Facilitate and negotiate project-level information/document management issues between Alliance, project and base organization
Create and implement document and information management integrated work processes between Alliances, project and base-organization
Develop, implement and maintain project’s document & information strategy
Monitor and control critical information flows between Alliances, Project Facility
Required expertise
Bachelor Degree
5-10 years experience with document/information management in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction)
Extensive experience with Project Document Management systems/tools.
Fluent in English and Norwegian, verbal and written.
Personal skills
Organized, structured and service minded.
Good communication skills.
Adaptability and problems solving capability.
Ability to respond to, and deal with, project personnel at all levels including contractor staff
